Hi all,,just watched a y/t video of new legislation comeing in in early 2021,that you cant toutch your mobile fone when behind the wheel of your car/vehicle/private conavaence,even when parked and the engine switched off,or you get a £200 fine this to prevent you from gathering video footage of the scum cops when they stop you to f@@k you over beat the life out off you,and has f@@k all to do with safty,i would suggest everyone get dash cam or some sort of videoing equipment in you r car/vehicle/private convaence,thease ba@@@@ds don't like it upem,the y/t channel is called black bright news..

If thats correct ,one solution is to carry in your vehicle small Go Pro like
recorders ( under £30.00) on ebay

Quick recap, the existing law which supposedly made "using" a mobile phone while "driving" illegal, failed to define either "using" or "driving". Regarding "driving" we have all the nonsense about whether you're still driving when stationary, or when parked off the road or whether you have to take the keys out. Regarding "using" the Police initially took the view that even just holding the phone was illegal, and zillions of people accepted COFPs for that sort of thing rather than take the risk of defending in court. I think the change to 6 points made someone dig their heels in, and that's how we ended up with the current precedent that "using" by implication means using for interactive communications.

My take is that the current proposal is intended to close what they see as a loophole. However given the tendency to gold plate any restrictive legislation it wouldn't surprise me to see "driving" tightened up as well.

I had lots of fun with this as I put my phone in the glovebox and out of reach, instead I had a Walkie Talkie which I pretended to speak on, instant blue lights and "you were using a mobile phone sir" and my response was prove it, they claimed they saw me using a mobile phone and I waved a walkie talkie at them and said "its not a fu*king mobile phone", but they got wise to this and ended up NOT stopping me.

I agree with Freeland, They obviously feel the need to stop what is now an endless stream
of video evidence of how these thugs in uniform really act towards the public.

Here's something to consider: Every time you get points on your licence your insurance goes up and the Guberment take a 10% cut of that.
