A DCA is an agent (DCA stands for Debt Collection Agent).

I suspect they won’t care less.

Just follow the NEW GOODF process

How much is the alleged debt for? Is it a loan or cc?

OK well for ‘just’ £300 I don’t think it’s worth going down the GOODF route. Can you not come to an agreement ie smaller, monthly payments?

But if, as Dave suggests, they haven’t fulfilled the contract, then you owe them nothing.

How long was the contract in operation before you cancelled ?
Did you inform them it was not performing as it should ?
