Hi folks, well it happened i recived a nip yesterday for a alleged offence yes alleged offence of excess speed (30mph) at a speed of 40mph,its addressed to the legal fiction all caps name in a square box clearley not for me but for the person still not me,i used a hot iron to very carefully melt the envelope glue and open it to see what it was,its sigend by the chief inspector of the police service of northern ireland,it is printed in large captial letters useing a felt tip marker E G DODDS and looks like a six year old wrote the name,as i see it i caused no harm loss or injury therefore i have committed no crime and there is no victoms named in the letter it is filled with lots of threats and threats i must do this that and the other, also they say they dont provide photographic evidence,so folks how do i deal with thease criminal fraudsters do i send it back and wright on the letter window addresse not reconised no contrac no concent or say nothing,i really dont want three points on my licence and also have to pay them £65 quid for not commiting a crim.many thanks in advance..

That speed should be be eligible for a Speed Awareness Course if you've not already done one within the last three years. Around the same cost but no penalty points, and most insurers don't require a course to be disclosed.

It's not really clear what she hoped to achieve with that call. A ticket office will only very rarely cancel a ticket, normally only if it's a misread or duplicate or some other administrative screw up. She says she should have acted earlier, I wonder if she means prior to naming herself as the driver?
