Just looking at my credit score

The oc is not showing at all
But CABOT is but I have never paid any money for the alleged debt.

But says it updated monthly by them.
date opened 12 Nov 2017

Lastest update September 2018
So do I have it correct in Nov it's SB?

Im a little lost

And advice please

Do you have the default notice from the OC ?
On that notice it will give you (usually 30 days) to make payment.
The SB clocks starts fron the end of the 30 days ,unless you made a
payment after that ,its 6 years until SB. (5 years in Scotland)

No I can't find it stilly me but I think it was around this time, is it worth it to send a sar to the oc? Or should I leave well alone?

If possible see if you have any statements or letters from around that time.
it may give an idea of when your last payment was made.
Personally ,if no one is chasing ,i would be inclined to keep things quiet.
Do not contact Cabot .
leave things until after november ,you can dsar the OC then.

However as it may be a little while before SB ,be prepared for cabot to
start up.

Maybe a good idea to get notice 1 of the NoCA for DPs ready to go ,so
all it will need is dating.
I presume you have researched the process.

as Dave says the default notice is crucial to determine SB,

but also be aware that you need to have a copy of the notice of assignment to see the sum allegedly owing at the time of 'sale' - then compare this figure to the sum Cabot are stating is outstanding on the account currently.

just a heads up on one of the dirty tricks these people play Cabot were notorious for it.

I have all ready sent the Noca to them many years ago but they went slient for many years, they did send me a letter letter about 9 moths ago saying we still know where you live.

But I wrote back rebutting Their claim and still waiting for my Noca to be answered

Yes have looked into it

Beat Lowell with the notices 2 years ago but they was easy,

I understand CABOT are at times hard to beat, but love playing their game lol

The reason i suggested getting notice 1 ready to go is, its possible
on account that SB is getting close the next letter from them may be
a letter before action.
So i would immediatly get it sent by return,remember its an offer to settle from
you,not a refusal to pay.

I would wait until something happens first.
Get it ready ,so all you will need to do is date it ,if the time comes.
