Someone (not me) uploaded these books, here's the links.

Equity and Trusts by Alastair Hudson 8th Ed.
N.B. These aren't spam links, looks like the site now uses adfly to generate some revenue via certain links.

Re: Private Trusts
Hello Richard,
I found your Equity and Trusts videos very helpful. You have an easy to understand presentation style that made me feel that with enough work, I could get my head around this subject. I felt as if you had found the Wizard's Book of Spells and were trying them out, and telling us how to try too.
Spelling, language and the Hidden-in-Plain-Sight Equity law keeps us all moving and miserable until we catch the glimmerings of the magic machine in operation. Your work has inspired me, thank you.

Re: Private Trusts
Whats the difference between a private trust and a private foundation within the following context?
private foundations are not suitable for placing assets such as houses in but it enables one to live "in the private."
Private foundations are not taxable in that income is not taxable because a private foundation exists for the benefit of your family members.
To add weight to the non tax-ability, get your wages/income paid via paypal as a donation, if your employer or customers will do that.

Re: Private Trusts
Hello, great question.
From my understanding, a foundation works similar to a charity, but the charity is funded publicly and a foundation is funded privately, normally by an individual on behalf of another or family or group. Hence why billionaires set up foundations for tax reasons and they still have control of 'their' money. It will still have trustees etc, just not government based trustees like the charity commission etc.
A foundation is typically an organisation not an individual
A private trust, technically is a foriegn instrument and operates as a trust specifically. So technically each office is entertained by a living individual (a private trust)
As I understand it. I am not fully versed with foundations so definitely do your own further research
Cheers
