DCAs Sending Documents that weren't Requested

As I'm sure a lot of you know a favourite response to the 3 letters by the DCAs is to send other documents that are not what was asked for. As a result I have added this to the letters I send

Please note the following WILL NOT be accepted
1. Statements
2. Copies of bills
3. Anything else which is not what I asked for

I also added to the fee schedule

4. Recieving any document that was not requested £ 30.00 each

As usual please feel free to copy and use and please let me know what you think

I wouldn't worry to much about the fact they are sending documents you did not ask for because:

a) - it tells you they likely don't have what you've asked for and that they have a weak hand.
b) - you don't need to respond to them accept to say in future correspondence to them that they have still not provided the documentation you asked for.

The most likely reason is that they don't have the documents you ask for. When you write to these people make a point of telling them you want proof of claim documents.

These are:

the original agreement you supposedly signed.
the OCs letter of default to you.
the letter or contract of assignment of the debt from the OC to the DC.

Everything else is just fluff and is to be disregarded.

I would get as much info from them, it catches them out on later submissions.

eg. they send "copy" statements but they remove the interest rates which you will have on any original. The reason why they remove them is because they cant remember what rates were in the original agreement when they reconstitute.
