Coal Empty Coal

Post by assassin Mon Mar 21, 2022 4:16 am

Is there a case for returning to coal now the Uk has left the EU and we are not bound by their rulings and legislation; we have all seen and heard the climate change BS and personally I dont believe it for several reasons and the first is the tried and tested Government sleight of hand and before it was called climate change it was called global warming and when it was found that the climate wasn't actually warming they changed its name by stealth and began referring to it as climate change and their stooges adopted the term and we heard it very long and loudly. One thing missing was actual substantive evidence and when people began to dig all they found were peoples opinions which were seriously short of factual evidence and from people and organisations with no credible track record in this industry and most were vying for the Government pot of gold for little work other than using some debased research and ripping it off and citing your own opinion.

Lets put some meat on the bones of this argument, if the Government are so concerned about climate change why are they allowing housing developers to tear up farmland which absorbs this CO2 and build houses on it, why are they allowing building on any space developers want to build on? basically greed as local councils as local Government profit from these developments in the form of council tax for decades and their coffers are lined and sod everyone.

Who actually closed UK deep coal mines; was it a certain Margaret Thatcher or maybe Arthur Scargill by calling an illegal strike in which miners had no vote? actually none of them as it was the EU which closed coal mines and other industries but why would be my first question, most people could see that the EU was a stepping stone to very few people controlling the whole of Europe and a huge component of this control was to destroy countries so no single county was or could be independant in any key areas and power was a key area as Europe were planning and initiating a super grid system for both gas end electricity and the EU would control it and could instantly shut off any country who didn't play ball.
This was achieved using various clean air legislation throughout Europe and these were seemingly totally unrelated and if no consequence or significance on their own so the EU ramped things up and connected them and this gave a different conclusion and basically Europe wantyed to control each countries gas and electricity through their super grids and do, coal minimg stopped throughout Europe except for Germany of course and of course they are allowed to burn coal but not just coal as it is the worst polluter, brown coal.

At the time of the UK pit closures the undustry was looking to expand and three super pit complexes were planned and Selby was actually built and while the EU were trying to decimate Europes traditional industries and preventing them from being self reliant a certain M. Thatcher was investing heavily and secretely in coal and its potential future uses as coal produced most of the UK electricity and surveys of the day showed we had over 700 years worth of known viable coal reserves and diesel engine developments showed that diesel engines could be run on powdered coal and several did along with other heavy diesel engines running from heavy oils and ships were a prime example where power could be increased by around 25% over diesel while emissions were educec by around one third.

What were these super complexes expected to produce:

Power stations to produce electricity in the traditional way from coal raised steam powering steam turbines to power industry.
Town gas to replace the natural gas by constructing degassification plants on site and revamping the gas grid and introducing a modern version of the old gasometers which stored town gas. This left coke which could be sold to the steel manufacturing and recycling industries to produce our own steels instead of importing them as we currently do.
Liquid fuel plants based upon Point of Ayr which would produce synthetic oils, petol, diesel, and LPG fuel gases from coal, did it work? actually coal miners wage negotiations involved a quantity of free coal produced diesel or petrol a week and men who moved pits were paid travelling allowances and these were to be replaced by giving them fuel based upon their mileages.
Industrial gases such as propane, butane, LPG, methane and indeed most combustable gases used in industry.

With these all based on one site and initially three sites in the UK we could stick two fingers up to the EU and currently Russia as the UK would be self sufficient in energy and the EU couldn't allow this to happen as our lights would still be on, our gas supplies would be intact and safe and we could move over to green gas by producing methane and mixing it with town gas and have the cleanest gas in the world, we wouldn't see petrol and diesel shortages as we would be producing our own and as for lubricants, we would also be producing our own and the UK wouldn't be reliant upon anyone or held to ransom by anyone.

To those not old enough to remember, the UK was one of the largest manufacturers and producers of coal mining equipment and this was held in high esteem around the world and it was sold around the world and the profits came to the UK, so let us consider the skills and manpower such facilities would require and these would be British jobs for British people who would be supporting local communities and the wider economy and many of these products could and would be exported and bringing in more money.
If Europe want green gas then we could sell it to them and if they wanted electricity we ould sell it to them (at a higher rate of course) and if they wanted petrol or diesel we could export that along with fuel gases for industy and we could be producing and recycling steels and other metals here in the UK.

So let me ask the question again should the UK begin mining coal again.

Coal Empty Re: Coal

With the crisis in Russia and Putin invading another country and posturing so loudly it is time to reflect on the sadness of a former prime minister and her words against the closure of coal mines as coal gave the UK independance and this could provide so many other products to keep our energy independance so what do we really have.

Reliance upon another country for our gas and oil which historically we cannot trustand have committed terrorist acts in the UK in the last few years.
Reliance upon the EU supergrid for gas and electricity which we have to import.
Reliance upon certain countries for coal and countries using slave and child labour.

So the answer is coal and we have plenty of it and before the idiots begin shouting climate change they should actually do a little research and note the choice of language used, it used to be global warming and when the earth was found to be cooling they began referring to climate change and not global warming which is deceitful. If we look further into this then it was also called vehicle emissions and this included the total vehicle emissions anmd this suddenly changed to tailpipe emissions so sleight of hand and people don't see this deceipt or simply ignore it and we all get played for idiots and the sheeple go into hyperdrive following their sheep agendas and not looking at the obvious and seeing through what is right before their own eyes.

Let me ask a simple question??? do people want energy rationing or not, imagine the scenario when you only get electricity every other day and gas on the alternate days as this is the agenda they want to introduce and simply blame Russia; lets look at another potential idea and use this. In an agenda the elite wanted to reduce the worlds population by 20% and miraculously covid came along but this didn't kill 20% of the worlds population and suddenlt Putin popped up to kill more people off and potentially this could kill off their desired 20% and if he is total psycho he could unleash nuclear weapons and kill off a lot more, food for thought.

Meanwhile in good ole America we have sleepy Joe Biden who managed to stay awake long enough to say he would release 1M barrels of crude oil from American reserves onto the market so whats new here as America always sell some of their crude oil when market prices are high so nothing new here as they wan't to profit from it for their shareholder bonuses.

Is energy independance looking more attractive when we could sit back and smile while we enjoy our electricity produced from coal, our town gas produced from coal, our petrol and diesel produced from coal and watch while the EU struggle to produce goods when their energy is off for the day and watch again as they cannot run their lorries and trains as they have no electricity or diesel and we could sell them some of our surplus for the benefit of British people. Put this another way, do you wan't your freezer to remain frozen or not and do you want to be warm tomorrow or not and remember your gas boiler needs electricity to run as the control circuits and take away peoples electric showers and microwaves and there will be descenting voices among the population and the climate argument will disappear faster than a rat up a drainpipe.

So, who gets hit? actually they are claiming big business but that won't happen and while they bring in large export profits for a country they will be the last to be rationed as Governments applaud money and not people and it will be the individual who will be hit the hardest and it allows them to sneak in other agendas. It could be made law to have a smart meter so they can switch off your gas and electricity to ration you. they could itroduce pay per mile road charges for travelling and limit your freedoms and this would involve every car being fitted with a tracking device. This has many consequences for everyone.

I have noticed recently that people are talking of going back to coal and regaining our energy independance and this would be a good thing as there will be the usual rhetoric about morality and ethics which will suddenly be crushed when people are cold and their freezers are defrosting.

Coal Empty Re: Coal

In an interesting turn of events we are seeing some prominent people claiming we have to go back to fossil fuels and today it was the turn of Jacob Rees Mogg to state that all the gas and oil should be mined from the North Sea and used by the UK and Holland ad both have rights to these waters. What it does show is that the electric car agenda is dead as they cannot possibly provide the raw (mined) materials for the batteries and these same batteries cannot be recycled as they are commercially recycled and this means only three components can be econimically recycled which means the bulk of the battery has to be dumped and to hell with the environment as long as someone can make a profit.

In recent weeks more engineers have been listened to and the electric card dirty secrets are now out and this is that they are dirtier than diesel cars in their lifetime and this is due to their construction and usage, most modern diesels will easily do 300,000 miles with litle more than routine servicing and Merceded brag about the long lives of their diesel engines. When it comes to their battery cars it is a different matter as they give a 70,000 mile warranty with their batteries and evidence shows most of them failing at around the 72-76,000 mile mark and a replacement currently costs a whopping £11,000 for a replacement supplied and fitted so now imagine the scenario. You pay £75,000 for your battery Mercedes and in commercial use doing an average 20,000 miles per annum your battery will last for only 3.5 - 4 years before it needs replacing and an extortionale £11,000 bill for the pleasure and they cannot even recycle your old battery so off to a foreign landfill it goes with lots more batteries and suddenly you defeat your objectives. In the time and mileage your diesel engine would normally last you will be on your fourth battery and paid a fortune for the privelege and Mercedes and their battery suppliers are laughing all the way to the bank and your good intentions are now smashed as you have used four batteries and their resources, shipped three batteries off for recycling and had their economically salvageable components removed and recycled and their remains have been shipped to foreign climes to pollute their grounds gor decades to come.

Coal Empty Re: Coal

Post by Sharpysparky Wed Apr 06, 2022 9:12 pm

I have found one piece of coal in the coal shed that my nan and grandad owned (that i know live in)( paid the debt on the house to gain it not born with silver spoon in my mouth) and it brought back some very happy memories of going out to the coal shed with my grandad to fill up the coal burner to have heat in the house, the smell from the burning coal was fantastic and every time they had the coal delivery my nan used to make the driver a horlicks, very fond memories of the good old days.

I currently work for a major bus company in Essex, that dick head sadick is pushing for electric buses very hard, for my depot to be able to get the cabling man enough to charge all the buses there would be so much un green efforts needed, for a start, the nearest ‘big enough’ cable to supply the depot is over 2.5 miles away, road closures inevitable, lots of so called tail pipe gases sitting in traffic, all the work force vans, generators etc at a cost of an estimated 3 million pounds.

Before Euro 6 was forced on us(as a whole not just buses) our older fleet had an exhaust modification costing TFL 30 per bus, the thing was the company responsible for the exhaust approached TFL with what they said was the solution, TFL loved the concept and paid up front, the said company did warn TFL that system should be trialed for at least one year in the field to see how it fares, TFL was not interested and insisted on the instal going ahead to EVERY SINGLE bus in London, this system is now so problematic the ‘puff’ ( emission) light is on more often than not meaning the system is not doing as it said on the tin, (VW scandal?) TFL’s answer is not our problem we paid you in advance, so now all the systems are out of warranty it is a licence to print money, we have to keep having them in to rectify the faults at a minimum charge of around a grand, times this by 120 buses and its a tidy sum! TFL employ a company that do quality audits/ safety/ pre MOT checks, they were instructed by TFL to ignore the ‘emission’ light as they knew there were problems( how much were they actually polluting is anybodies guess as there is no machines used to test the emissions as it was said there is nothing coming out of the exhaust apart from moisture !!!)

The whole vehicle thing is just scam to make the sheeple think that its them that are causing us harm and not looking at the thousands of plane journeys, ‘space missions’ etc but most of all the set up of all of it is far from zero carbon!

Very true Sharpsparky as it is all a scam and a moneymaker for some at the cost to the many and all it does is move the pollution from one place to another so what is the point. In reality (according to their figures) the UK only propduces arounf 1/2% of the worlds emissions so whatever we do makes no difference and while China, India, and many smaller countries continue manufacturung the way they do, and polluting the way they do, then our little islands environmental credentials are just another scam.
